August 1, 2017 Books/Writing, Giveaways 8

Sssshhh…we’re going to pretend that it’s still July, because that’s when this June OwlCrate giveaway was supposed to happen! July just FLEW by me and yesterday I thought, “OMG, I still haven’t posted that…” and then I got sleepy and forgot. July just basically kicked my ass. I didn’t finish a single book, I don’t think…maybe a non-fiction one on gardening. YIKES!! There just haven’t been enough hours in the day! Hoping to change that with August…and nothing pumps me up more than other people getting excited about books, and I know one of the best ways to get people excited is to give them books and book stuff! Anyway, so here we go. 😀

Contest is open from now until Friday, August 11th, at midnight CST! Thank you all for following, and commenting, and sharing – I will be back with more reviews and fun bookish stuffs soon!

I find that I read more in the winter months as it’s generally wet over here so there’s not much to do outside.
In summer I like to spend time with my horses.

I hope things start winding down for you this month. I’m not entering, but I’ll be tweeting it for you, and I will link the giveaway on my Facebook giveaway page and share it to my FB blog page. 🙂

I’ve definitely read less this summer due to moving and starting a new job. Must remedy that soon!

  3. KM

At the beginning of summer, I definitely read more. Now that I’m busier, it seems like I’ve been reading less. 🙁

I definitely read list during the summer because the kids are out of school. So when I get out of work and I am always busting them around here and there and never get an opportunity to read nearly as much as I love to!
